Piedmont Panthers

The Piedmont Panthers are coming off a 2-10 covid shortened season and have a not-so-new head coach in Kasey Brooks. Brooks replaces Anthony George as head coach after a two-year hiatus. In the two years prior to George at the helm of the Panthers, Brooks went 24-26 and made the 3A state playoffs in 2017-18. The Panthers return one starter from last season in senior forward Natalie Evans. Evans will need to step up after being named UnionCountyHoops Special Mention after her sophomore and junior seasons. Evans averaged 7.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg as a junior. The Panthers will open the 2021-22 season playing in the Thanksgiving Tournament at Nations Ford HS the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of November.‪‪
