    Cuthbertson (0-0 & 0-0)

    The Cavaliers (18-9 & 4-6) open the 2017-18 season at the #1 spot in the Fab-5 Poll. The Cavs won the SCC Torunament last season. Coach Allen welcoms back sophomore starting forwards Lauryn Hardiman (12.0 ppg/8.1 rpg) & Lillian Anderson (8.4 ppg/9.3 rpg). Those two along with junior Kayla Yong (9.3 ppg/2.3 apg) are set ti lead the Cavs this season. Kailyn McKinney (3.6 ppg/2.0 rpg) is projected to enter her third year as a starter at one guard spot. The final starter could go to senior guard, Alexis Levister (3.1 ppg/2.5 rpg). The Cavs will add 6'1 freshman, Maddie Dillinger who will add more size to an already big team. The Cavs will open the 2017-18 season hosting Porter Ridge on November 17th.

    Parkwood (0-0 & 0-0)

    The Rebles (17-9 & 8-2) open the 2017-18 season at the #2 spot in the Fab-5 Poll. The Rebels return 3 starters from last years team. The Rebels move up to the 3A Southern Carolina Conference. Senior guard Molly Setliff (14.0 ppg) and sophomore guard Kennedie Gaither (11.8 ppg/5.3 spg) will anchor the backcout for Coach Brian Morris. Junior forward Addison Laney (5.7 ppg/6.8 rpg) will provide more of a pressence in the middle for the Rebes. Parkwood will open the 2017-18 season hosting Arborbrook Christian Academy on November 20th.

    Piedmont (1-0 & 0-0)

    The Piedmont Panthers staty at the #3 spot after a win over West Stanly. Seniors Caroline Tripp and Kelly Fagala combined for 33 points in the win. Piedmont will take on Union Academy and Porter Ridge in the Brad Thompson Shoot-out Nove 20th and 21st .

    Weddington (2-0 & 0-0)

    The Warriors (13-12 & 4-6) stay at the #4 spot after wins over East Meck and CATA. Senior Erin Addison and Sophomore guard Karah Kazabach combined to score 68 points in the 2 wins. The Warriors will host Ardrey Kell Tuesday Nov. 21st .

    Marvin Ridge (0-1 & 0-0)

    The Marvin Ridge Mavericks stay at teh #5 spot afte ralling to Ardrey Kell. Freshman Noble Tsumas led the Mavs with 7 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Mavs will take on Lancaster HS and Nation Ford HS on Nov 21st and 22nd.
