Senior 2021-22

She was named All-UChoops 1st Team, All-SCC, SCC POY & All-District. Ms. Williams finished the 2021-22 season leading Union Co. in scoring with a 20.4 pg average. Ruby scored in double figures 18 times including a career high 35 points in a win over Sun Valley.
Ruby grabbed a career high 15 rebounds in a 50-37 win over W. Cabarrus on her way to a 5.5 rebound average for the season. Ms. Williams dished out 1.7 assists per game and 2.2 steals per game for the Cavaliers including a season high six steals in the 49-37 win over Union Academy. Ruby was named Ist Team All-UnionCountyHoops, All-SCC and SCC Player of the Year along with being named All-District.
Ruby was named UnionCountyHoops.com's Player of the Week four times during the season and helped lead the Cuthbertson Cavaliers to a 19-8 record, a second-place finish in the SCC, the SCC Tournament Title & into the Ist round of the state playoffs.
Ruby set a Cavalier record with 539 points in a season and is the 6th Cavalier to join the 1000-point finishing with 1088 points. Ruby is headed to Cornell University to continue her academic and basketball career.
Junior 2020-21
13.0 ppg/3.7 rpg/2.1 apg/2.2 spg/1.0 bpg Ruby was named All-UChoops 1st Team and Named All-SCC. Ruby scored high with 22 points vs. Piedmont. She helped lead the Cavs to a 14-2 record and a SCC and reached the 2nd round of the state playoffs.
Sophomore 2019-20
6.8 ppg/2.7 rpg/2.3 spg/1.3 spg Ruby scored season high 17 points vs. Piedmont. Ruby grabbed a season high 9 rebounds in win over Charlotte Latin. Ruby helped lead the Cavs to a 28-3 record, 13-1 in the SCC and reached the Elite-8.
Freshman 2018-19
5.2 ppg/2.8 rpg/1.0 spg/1.0 bpg Ruby was named 2018-19 UCHoops All-NewComer Team. She scored season high 17 points in win over Parkwood. Ruby grabbed season high 8 rebounds in win over Indian Land. She helped lead the Cavs to a 29-4 record and a SCC tournament title and to the state title game.
