The Pirates will need to replace UCHoops Player of the Year Kyler Harris (25.1 ppg/6.4 rpg/4.2 apg) which is no small feat. Senior forward Dennis Kurucu is the lone starter returning this season. Kurucu will be needed to step up his scoring and rebounding (5.7 ppg/3.5 rpg) in 2023-24. Junior Ziggy Harris returns after limited minutes last season when he scored 2.7 ppg/2.4 rpg for the Pirates. The Pirates open the 2022-23 season hosting Union Academy on Nov. 21st.
