The Pirates should challenge for the SCC title despite losing 5 of their top 6 scorers to graduation (I. Williams 14.5ppg/J. Anderson 12.3 ppg/G. Wenger 10.5 ppg). They do however return senior guard Kyler Harris. Harris was 2nd Team All-UCHoops and All-SCC after putting up 13.7 ppg/5.0 rpg/4.1 apg/3.2 spg as a junior. The Pirates will have senior guard Justin Shumaker will be in the backcourt with Harris and can provide the outside shooting the Pirates need. The Pirates open the 2022-23 season hosting West Cabarrus on Nov. 22nd.
