The Mavericks have been the dominant team in the SCC the past 5 seasons and look to go beyond last season’s trip to the Elite-8. The Mavs return the UCHoops POY and SCC POY senior wing Kate Schindler (19.7 ppg/7.6 rpg/2.8 apg/2.4 spg/35% from 3, UCHoops Player of the Year, SCC Player of the Year, All-SCC, 1st Team All-district). Schindler is headed Richmond University in the 2026. Sophomore guard Haley Lenahan (7.4 ppg/34% from 3) can shoot as well as anyone in Union Co. and will stretch the defense. Senior wing Kate Sheridan (6.0 ppg/4.0 rpg/1.1 spg) fills up the Maverick box scores with rebounds, steals, assists along with a toughness inside. Mavericks will need. Junior guard Allie Heine can both shoot when needed and distribute the basketball from either guard position. Marvin Ridge will need 6’4 junior Kendall Chadderton (4.0 ppg/5.6 rpg) to be a strong presence in the middle and solid rim protector. The Mavs add senior guard Sophie Fritz (Kings University commit) to the squad after a 2-year hiatus, and she will play a strong role in the backcourt. The Mavericks open the 2025-26 season at Mallard Creek on Tuesday Nov. 18th.
