The 2010-11 UnionCountyHoops.com’s Boys Player of the Year is Sun Valley's Shaun Stewart.

As a junion Shaun helped lead the Sun Valley Spartans to a 17-8 overall record and a Co-Conference Title with an 8-2 record in the S.C.C. The Spartans made it to the 1st round of the states 4A playoffs. Shaun finished the 2010-2011 as Union Co.'s 2nd leading scorer by averaging 22.2 ppg. He was 4th in Union Co. in rebounding with a 7.1 rpg average. Stewart led Union Co. in assists with 4.7 apg and was 4th in Union Co. in steals with 2.4 spg.

Shaun won Player of the Week 4 times during the season. Shaun was named to the ALL-Unioncountyhops.com's 1st team. He is the 1st Junior to win the UnionCountyHoops.com's Boys Player of the year.

The 2010-11 UnionCountyHoops.com’s Girls Player of the Year is Parkwood's Morgan Brown

Morgan Brown helped lead the Parkwood Lady Rebels to a 25-3 overall record and a Conference Title with a 9-1 record in the S.C.C. The Rebels made it to the 4th round of the state 3A playoffs.

Morgan Brown finished the 2010-2011 season as Union Co.'s 5th leading scorer by averaging 16.5 ppg. She led Union Co. in assists with 5.8 apg and was 5th in Union Co. in steals with 3.7 spg. Morgan won Player of the Week 5 times during the season. Morgan was named to the ALL-Unioncountyhoops.com's 1st Team. Morgan finished her career at Parkwood with 1438 points scored. Morgan would go on to play basketball at Limestone College.
