2006-2007 BOYS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The 2006-2007 UnionCountyHoops.com’s Boys Player of the Year is Porter Ridge's DJ Harrison.

DJ led the Porter Ridge Pirates to a 20-7 record and to the 1st round fo the state 3A playoffs. DJ led Union Co. in scoring with 23.4 ppg along with grabbing 5.1 rpg. Mr. Harrison scored a career high 40 points in his final game vs. Ragsdale in the 1st round of the state 4-A Playoffs. DJ was named All-unioncountyoops.com 1st team.

DJ would go on to play at Butler CC and Wingate.

Jennifer Hailey (FH)

2006-07 GIRLS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Jennifer led the Forest Hills yellow Jackets to a 21-3 record and to the 2nd round fo the state 2A playoffs. The Forest Hills junior forward was 2nd in Union Co. in scoring (16.9 ppg) & led Union Co. in rebounding (13.4 rpg) and blocks.

Jennifer was named All-UnionCountyHoops.com 1st team.
