Weddington (13-13, 1-7)

The Warriors return their top six scorers from last season. Senior wing Baily Page (13.3 ppg/4.0 rpg) & sophomore sniper Caroline Clark (10.7 ppg/41 % from 3) will lead the way. Senior forward Madison Motto (8.2 ppg/7.0 rpg) is as good a rebound in the SCC as there is. Senior guard Natalie Poole (6.2 ppg/3.0 rpg) is an excellent on the ball defender. Sophomore guard Sidney Sitren (3.2 ppg/2.0 apg) played well in limited minutes as a freshman. She will get more minutes this season and it will show the hard work she’s put in in the off season. Keep an eye on guard Gabby Walker, a transfer from Charlotte Catholic her arrival should free up Ms. Clark to be more of a scoring guard. The Warriors open the 2024-25 season hosting South Mecklenburg on SATURDAY Nov. 16th.
