The Cavs have their 3rd head coach in the past 7 seasons, Oneill Palmer replaces Josh Stein who guided the Cavs to the playoffs last season. Palmer comes from Ardrey Kell HS where he was an assistant to Mike Craft. The Cavs lost their top scorers from last season in Luke Nelson. Senior Grady Webb (9.3 ppg/ 33 % from 3) returns and will shoulder more of the scoring load after being named UCHoops Special Mention as a junior. Webb, who is headed to Brevard in 2026 will have help in senior guard Chase Nali (4.4 ppg/32% from 3), who can flat-out shoot the basketball. 6’5 senior wing Jayden Gunby (5.4 ppg/5.0 rpg) will control the middle and is a solid rim protector. Senior wing Brandon Cheek (4.7 ppg/3.4 rpg) came off the beach last sesason and is a HIGH ENERGY player, we expect to see more of him this season. Senior guard Ethan Nelson (3.3 ppg) has really improved in the off season will add another scorer to the Cavalier offense. The Cavs open the 2025-26 season hosting Freedom HS on Nov 14th.
